Community Mediation in Haryana: The concept for Community Mediation in Haryana has been approved by Hon’ble Patron-in-Chief, Haryana State Legal Services Authority which is being implemented across the State. Haryana State Legal Services Authority has introduced Community Mediation Centres across all districts aiming to establish a framework for mediation through community and settlement of conflicts at grass root level using eminent local persons selected from the community and trained in community mediation. 59 persons have been imparted 40 Hours Mediation Training under the Community Mediation Programmes. 42 cases have been referred and 31 settled through community mediation.
