    Voluntary Blood Donation Camp

    With a view to addressing the recurring shortage of blood during the summer months and to promote a culture of voluntary public service, Haryana State Legal Services Authority (HALSA) organized a Voluntary Blood Donation Camp on 26.05.2026 at Administrative Building of HALSA, Panchkula in collaboration with the Department of Transfusion Medicine, Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh. The initiative witnessed an overwhelming response from police personnel, ITBP jawans, officers and officials of various departments, social organizations and the general public, resulting in the collection of 314 units of blood.
    The blood donation camp was inaugurated by Mrs. Kiran Sibal, Member, State Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission, Punjab. The noble initiative was organized under the inspiring guidance of Hon’ble Mr. Justice Deepak Sibal, Judge, Punjab and Haryana High Court and Executive Chairman, HALSA with the objective of promoting voluntary blood donation and strengthening the availability of blood and blood components for needy and critically ill patients requiring lifesaving treatment.
    The initiative was conceived as a humanitarian endeavour aimed at reinforcing the values of compassion, social responsibility and community participation. The enthusiastic public response reaffirmed the capacity of Legal Services Institutions to mobilize society for causes that directly impact the welfare and well-being of citizens.
